Hello Mother and Father it is me Rose. You might be worrying
about me right now but do not worry I am happy here. The laws are great here
women have lots of rights for example we can work, go to school, have our own
businesses, and have other people under control. I have married a handsome and
intelligent man his name is Edmond. He is about 5 years older than me he is 29
years old. I really love him. He has not yelled at me or cussed or hit me. He
respects me and my space he lets me go to school and have fun. He does not let
me work. I do not know why but I respect his decision. He has 2 daughters and
the youngest daughter’s name is Rosaline who is 4 years old and the oldest
Emily who is 7. They are beautiful girls and they make me laugh and help me
with chores and other things. The people here are all very nice but some can be
greedy or mean but it is alright. We have an intendant who is Jean Talon and we
have a Governor and a very nice and respectful Bishop. The stores here are so
expensive but have fresh fruit. Anyways mother please tells father I miss him
and I love him. Say hello to all my friends and cousins there for me. Do not
